This year, the Illinois Supreme Court Historic Preservation Commission gave an award for the most outstanding exhibit based on an Illinois Supreme Court Justice. This year's recipient was Noah Hancock, an 8th grader from Oglesby Washington Junior High. Noah said he became interested in the subject after his mother suggested the topic (Noah's mother is an acquaintance of Justice Howard C. Ryan's son).
The award was presented by Matt Burns, Director of Administration for the Commission. Congratulations Noah! The Illinois Supreme Court Historic Preservation Commission looks forward to presenting more awards at the Illinois History Fair.
