Juleann Hornyak: An Oral History/Memoir

Juleann Hornyak, a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, began her legal career as a research attorney for the Fourth District Appellate Court in 1979. She then worked as a law clerk to Justice Harold F. Trapp of the Fourth District Appellate Court, and as Clerk of the Fourth District Appellate Court. From 1981-82 she was in private practice. In 1982, Hornyak became the Clerk of the Illinois Supreme Court, and went on to serve in that position until her retirement in 2010.
